Curriculum

Our Curriculum
Curiosity, creativity, independence, cooperativeness, and persistence are some of the approaches that enhance early learning and development. A variety of play-oriented, exploratory activities are embedded in our curriculum. We focus on four important developmental learning components:

Social and Emotional Development
Children gain independence and self-control by learning to trust and respect others. Our curriculum focuses on helping young children build self-confidence, exhibit positive attitudes, and demonstrate social behavior. Encouraging children to help each other, teaching them words they can use to express how they feel, and encouraging cooperation achieve this. This component is designed to provide opportunities for children to participate in classroom activities that are positive for themselves, their classmates, and their teachers.

Cognitive Development
Our curriculum is designed to help children acquire problem solving skills, expand logical, critical, and creative thinking skills, develop concepts to assist them in understanding the world around them, extend verbal communication skills, and develop pre-reading, pre-mathematics, pre-writing, computing, the arts, and sciences.

Physical Development
Physical development includes activities such as throwing, catching, skipping, climbing, building, drawing, and balancing. Our curriculum is written to develop these skills, which lays the foundation for cognitive abilities needed for reading, writing, and mathematics.

Spiritual Development
We strive to provide children with a greater awareness of God through daily Bible stories, songs and weekly Bible verses.
