Baptism

Baptism is a wonderful part of the holy sacraments of the church. John the Baptist baptized Jesus with water and Jesus in Matthew 28 called believers to water baptize new converts in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit. Water baptism is the means by which believers are to identify with Christ. This is not just a mere ceremony done by tradition. Our union with Christ is signified by water baptism (Col 2:11, 12)

Baptism is usually held the last Wednesday of each month in conjunction with communion, another one of the sacraments of the church where we remember Jesus. In order to be baptized at Grove Baptist, you must call the church office or contact the Levite Tribal leaders by calling 967-9614.

We are excited that you are considering or have joined with this body of believers as we strive to be the disciples that Jesus has called us to be and witness to all the world of God’s goodness.
